When I became pregnant with my first child, I started thinking seriously about the products I used. What was the toll of chemicals I used during bathing, in my hair and especially during those fume-ridden cleaning sessions that left me feeling woozy? What was the point of eating well if I then covered myself with chemicals? Suddenly I was also thinking of doing my bit to ensure the world still has good resources for my children and their children. I also worried about how to keep my adventurous bub from cleaning product experimentation. In short, how can you be sure that your house is clean and safe for the little ones? Read on for a great solution.

safe cleaningI recently had an Australian based company called Tri Nature recommended to me. The company has developed a new direction in commercial products by using all natural ingredients to achieve superior cleaning. They produce an extensive range of products for the home, car and personal care. I’ve tried a few and have to say that it’s a breath of fresh air! I’ve been using a few of their products for general cleaning and have found them pleasant smelling to even my sensitive nose.

Rather than some catch phrase name, the cleaners have odd names, like Sphagnum Moss – which has a really lovely fragrance, surprisingly. They come in various sizes and compare very well price wise to supermarket products. One of the best things is that if you want to try a product you can get a cheap small sample. Another great thing is that they are environmentally friendly.

“Tri Nature's environmentally responsible products are readily biodegradable and are generated from naturally based materials that have a minimal effect on our delicate environment. Tri Nature is about quality, the highest possible, using all the tools of modern technology.”

The clincher for me is that you can get products that are food safe and if by chance my bub happens to ingest something it’s not poisonous! These products allow my eager child to help with the cleaning – he loves using the spray bottle! I can get rid of a mess in the middle of a meal without worrying and there are no more woozy cleaning sessions. All in all, I’m very happy with the products I’m using and I’ll be trying a few more samples along the way.

As Tri Nature reminds us:

“The protection of our natural environment is the responsibility of us all. Each year millions of tonnes of detergent waste are thoughtlessly poured into our Oceans and Waterways with most people unaware of the damage caused or of the disturbance to the delicate balance of nature. By introducing Tri Nature Products into your home, you are caring for the well-being of your family, and making a positive contribution to maintaining the Ecological balance of nature and to the preservation of our natural heritage.”

What I can say from my experience is that the products I’ve tried do make me feel better, in body and soul. I know that I can use ‘hospital strength’ cleaning products without compromising my nose or my home. I don’t have to worry that my child will be poisoned, my house is clean AND environmentally that little bit more friendly. This makes me a happy mum and helps to ensure my happy bub stays healthy and happy too.
